Dr. R.K. Molla, founder and CEO of CEI has taught undergraduate level courses for about 30 years as a Professor of printing technology in two universities in the USA. Currently he teaches digital prepress for the Graphic Design department of Art Institute Online, a division of Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Professor Molla received a Master of Science (M.S.) in Printing Management and a Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) in Technology Education in the USA. Dr. Molla is the author of the world’s first text on drum scanner, “Electronic Color Separation,” which was published in 1988. The book was used by more than 50 schools in the USA, Canada and Europe as a text, and about 2,000 printing plants worldwide as a training manual. He is currently working on a new text, “A Beginner’s Guide to Digital Prepress” which is expected to go to press in 2009.
